GENEVA, Ohio — Senior
Annie Priest (Frazeysburg, Ohio/Tri-Valley) represented Marietta College at the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships Friday (May 27) afternoon at the SPIRE Institute.
Priest competed in the women's shot put and placed 21st overall. She finished tenth in her flight with a best distance of 11.91 meters (39' 1.00"). Her first attempt measured 11.08 meters, followed by her best throw of the day in her second attempt. Priest's final time in the ring resulted in a distance of 11.88 meters.
Priest set the Marietta College record in the outdoor shot put earlier this spring. She won the event at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational with her record distance of 13.78 meters (45' 2.5").
