MARIETTA, Ohio – The Marietta College softball team is raffling off a Wilson A2000 baseball/softball glove to raise money for Autism Awareness.  100 percent of the money raised will go directly to the Mid-Ohio Valley Autism Community, Inc.

"We chose to do another glove raffle because we want bring awareness and education to different organizations. This time we are teaming up with Mid Ohio Valley Autism Community (MOVAC, Inc)," said Head Coach Jenn Castle. "COVID-19 greatly impacted the way they do their fundraisers so I know our donation will be put to immediate use for their members and families."

Tickets for the raffle will go on sale starting October 1st.  Tickets will be sold by Marietta College softball student-athletes and can also be purchased by contacting Head Coach Jenn Castle at (740) 376-4668.

Tickets will be on sale for a month, and the winner will be drawn on November, 1st at 12 p.m.  The drawing will be aired live on Facebook Live.

The glove is a limited-edition Autism Speaks Wilson A2000. The 11.5" glove can be used as a game glove or would make a great display piece.

"Being able to contribute back to our community is really important to me as a coach. The Marietta community supports our softball program and this is one small way for us to give back to them," concluded Coach Castle.
