MARIETTA, Ohio — The 4x100m relay improved its NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time and senior #Stephanie Hammond (Toledo/Central Catholic)# joined the list of provisional qualifiers to highlight Marietta College's performances at a series of last chance meets this weekend.

On Friday (May 6), #Billy McCulloch (Nelsonville/York)#, #Anthony Williams (Columbus/Bishop Hartley)#, #Brandon Harrison (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial)# and #Ryan House (New Concord, Ohio/John Glenn)holder# set a new school record by finishing their race at Indiana University's Billy Hayes Invitational in 41.63 seconds. The Pioneers' had previously qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship by posting a time of 41.83 seconds at the Don Frail Invitational.

On Saturday (May 7), Hammond unleashed a school record hammer throw toss of 48.79m at the Ohio Open, which landed her on the list of NCAA provisional qualifiers.

The 2011 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship is slated to take place May 26-28 on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware, Ohio.
