Sophomore Caleb Muller (Columbus/Bexley) earned Marietta College's first invitation to the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship in 32 years following his tenth place finish at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship, which was hosted by Hope College Saturday (Nov. 13) afternoon.

Muller, who led the Pioneer men to a 20th place finish, ran a personal record 25:24.8 and earned All-Region honors. Marietta Athletics Hall of Famer Brad Fawley, who earned All-America honors as a senior in 1978, was the last Marietta runner to compete at the national meet. The 2010 NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championship will take place in Waverly, Iowa, Saturday at 12 p.m.
