Football’s sophomore kicker Jimmy Embrescia (Northfield, Ohio / Nordonia) had a hand (or foot) in all of Marietta’s points in last week’s 28-10 Shrine Trophy loss at Muskingum. He connected on his only field goal attempt in the game, a 34 yarder, and was 1-for-1 on extra points. Embrescia also set up the Pioneers’ lone touchdown of the game when he executed an onside kick. He started the play with a perfect kick and ended it by recovering the ball after it went the mandated 10-yards. On the season, Embrescia is 4-for-4 on PAT’s and had made his only field goal attempt.
