Women’s Track and Field freshman Emily Thompson (St. Clairsville, Ohio / St. Clairsville) led the MC women at the Pioneer Open breaking the school’s pole vault record that stood for 13 years. Thompson cleared 3.68 meters, the fourth-best height this season in NCAA Division III, breaking Kim Keesler’s record of 3.62 meters. Thompson also placed fifth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.98 seconds.
