Marietta College Athletics

Sophomore Dana VanDervort (Alexandria/Northridge) finished second in the pentathlon at the Spartan Early Bird Combined Event last weekend with 2,824 total points. VanDervort recorded personal-bests in four of the five events that comprise the pentathlon. Her marks in the 55-meter hurdles (9.47), high jump (1.38m), shot put (9.29m) and 800-meter run (2:35.79) were personal records.
