Sophomore post Eddy Grenert (Wooster/Triway) tallied his first career double-double leading the Pioneers to a 94-87 victory over John Carroll in the regular season finale. Grenert scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds against the Blue Streaks. He was nearly perfect hitting 8-of-10 shot attempts. For the week, Grenert averaged 13.5 points and 6.5 boards in MC’s two games. On the season, he is averaging 7.9 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. The Pioneers earned the No. 2 seed in this week’s OAC Men’s Basketball Tournament.
