Marietta College Athletics

Sophomore Candice Alexander (Fairborn/Fairborn) helped the Pioneers to a 54-53 win at Capital last week with her fifth career double-double. The win was the first for Marietta over Capital in 50 games dating back to the 1988-89 season. Alexander scored 12 points and had a career-high 15 rebounds and four blocked shots. Alexander added 11 points in Marietta’s loss on the road at Baldwin Wallace. For the season, Alexander is second on the team averaging 10.2 points per game. She leads the Pioneers in rebounds pulling down 6.7 per game.
