Sophomore wing Luis Garcia (Miami, Fla./Florida Christian) averaged 19.0 points in Marietta’s two Ohio Athletic Conference victories last week. Garcia poured in 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds, both team-highs, in the Pioneers’ last-second win on the road at Wilmington. Against the Quakers, Garcia was 8-of-13 from the floor, 4-of-6 from three-point range and 9-of-11 at the free throw line. For the season, Garcia is averaging 9.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. He is second on the team with 23 three-point field goals this season.
