Junior middle blocker Rachel Hackenberg (Canal Winchester/Franklin Heights) helped the Pioneers volleyball team to a 3-1 showing in the BSN River City Classic last weekend. In Marietta’s 3-0 win over Frostburg State, Hackenberg recorded seven kills and had an impressive .636 attack percentage to go along with a couple of blocks. In the Pioneers’ exciting win over Transylvania, Hackenberg was a dominant player at the net notching seven blocks. For the week, she averaged 2.08 kills per set and had a .317 attack percentage.
