Senior outside hitter Alex VanGundy (Powell/Olentangy Liberty) led the Pioneers to a 3-0 sweep on the road over No. 23-ranked Heidelberg University. VanGundy led all players with 14 kills in the match to go along with her .273 attack percentage. VanGundy recorded the winning kill in each of the first two sets, both close 25-23 Marietta wins. The Pioneers took the third set 25-21. The Pioneers are currently 13-4 overall and 2-0 in the OAC.
