WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Marietta College achieved recognition with four student-athletes being named to the 2026 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Team, as announced by the league office on Monday morning (May 4). Following a vote by the conference coaches,
Mallory Wiles (Worthington, Ohio/Worthington Kilbourne),
Alayna Francis (Irwin, Pa./Norwin), and
Renee Mulvaney (Midland, Mich./Midland) were selected for the second team, and
Molly Dickens (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) received an honorable mention designation.
"I am so proud to have been able to be a part of such outstanding conference performances from these four," said Head Coach
Lindsay Reho. "It is always great to receive recognition from other coaches, and it goes to show how much our program has been growing having four All-Conference players this year. This group has worked hard all year, and then being able to see three of our seniors be recognized is such a great way to cap off their careers."
Wiles finished her Pioneer career with another strong season, leading to her third career All-OAC honor. Wiles finished with 39 goals scored, good for seventh in the conference, and led the team with 29 assists, which was second in the OAC.
"Mallory is deserving of all the recognition she gets," said Coach Reho. "She has been such a constant for us on the offensive end, and she has put everything she has into this program her entire career. Seeing her develop her game over her four years has been such a treat. She came into the conference as an offensive force right out of the gate and bookending her career with her third All-Conference honor is only fitting for one of the best to ever wear the Marietta Women's Lacrosse uniform."
Alayna Francis (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) capped off her career with one of the best defensive seasons in program history, earning a program-record fourth career All-OAC honor. Francis led the OAC with 85 draw controls and ranked fourth in the conference with 26 caused turnovers. She also owns the Pioneer career records in both of those categories.
Coach Reho praised Francis: "Alayna has been breaking records since she arrived on campus, and she does it again as our first-ever four-time All-OAC honoree. In my opinion, she delivered the best performance among all defenders in the conference this year. She is not only a force on the field, but her passion for lacrosse and her team makes her the ultimate teammate. She leaves as one of the best to ever wear the uniform."
Renee Mulvaney (Midland, Mich./Midland) earned her first career All-OAC honor after a season with significantly improved statistics. She recorded a career-high 29 goals and added 21 assists, which was fourth in the OAC, totaling 50 points on the season.
"Renee has been a silent threat in her three previous years on our offensive end and has battled injury over her four years," said Reho. "She took on the quarterback role of our offense this year as both a scoring and facilitating threat, and she produced one of the most consistent scoring seasons I have seen in my four years here. Seeing her recognized as one of the best attackers in our conference this year is well deserved."
Molly Dickens (Centerville, Ohio/Centerville) demonstrated that the Pioneers' offense remains strong, leading the team with 42 goals, which ranked fifth in the conference. She also led the team with 38 groundballs and showed her versatility by ranking third on the team in both draw controls (37) and caused turnovers (13).
"I am so glad to see Molly getting recognition among such a talented group of midfielders in the OAC," commented Reho. "She had a breakout year on the offensive end and stepped up for us on the draw control as well. This is just the beginning for Molly, and I am so excited to continue to see her game grow through her junior and senior years."
The Pioneers finished their season with a 7-8 overall record and a 2-4 mark in Ohio Athletic Conference play.
