MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College head men's lacrosse coach Nathan Grover announced the hiring of Eli Ciotti as the Pioneers' next assistant men's lacrosse coach.
 
"Eli brings a great depth of knowledge, recruiting experience, and playing experience to help round out the coaching staff. Eli is a proven leader both from his playing days to his coaching experiences."
 
Ciotti comes to Marietta with a strong background in collegiate and international lacrosse. Most recently, he served as the assistant coach at Point Park University, helping guide them to three victories in their inaugural season. Prior to that, he was a graduate assistant coach at Malone University.
 
He is very familiar with the Ohio Athletic Conference, having been a standout player at the University of Mount Union. During his four seasons there, he was a four-time Academic All-OAC honoree and finished sixth on the Purple Raiders' all-time points list with 91 goals and 41 assists.
 
Ciotti capped his collegiate career as a graduate senior at Malone, where he scored 40 goals and helped lead the team to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference playoffs in only its second year of existence.
 
Since August 2024, Ciotti has also been involved with the Italian National Lacrosse Team, serving as both a player and an assistant coach on the world stage.
 
Originally from Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, Ciotti earned a bachelor's degree from Mount Union in May 2023, majoring in Integrated Media and French. He completed his MBA at Malone University in 2025.
 
Grover concluded by saying, "The addition of Eli will help continue the positive momentum this program has had over recent years, and his insights will help continue to guide our program towards our goals of competing at the top of the OAC!"
