MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College junior pitcher Austin Ziance (Highland Heights, Ohio/Mayfield) was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week Wednesday (Mar. 25) morning. This is Ziance's first appearance on the Team of the Week.
 
In the first game of the weekend doubleheader at Otterbein, Ziance delivered a standout performance, throwing a complete-game one-hitter. He earned his second win of the season by striking out nine and conceding just one unearned run.
 
For the season, Ziance is 2-3 with a 2.93 earned run average, fourth best in the OAC. He has pitched in 27.2 innings, striking out 29 batters.
 
Marietta will next play Saturday (Mar. 28) when they travel to play conference foe Ohio Northern University. The first pitch of game one is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
