WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio — The Marietta College women's golf team finished ninth in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Sunday (April 27) afternoon. The three-day, 72-hole tournament was played on the par-72 River Greens Golf Course.
Mount Union won the team title with a four-round total of 1320. Ohio Northern finished second two strokes behind at 1322, followed by Otterbein (1366), Heidelberg (1376), John Carroll (1467), Baldwin Wallace (1493), Muskingum (1510), Capital (1515), and Marietta (1538).
Ohio Northern's Marisa Alfes won medalist honors with a 25-over-par, 313. Mount Union's Jocelyn Troyer finished second two strokes behind at 315 (+27).
Evie Gravlin (Gahanna, Ohio/New Albany) led the Pioneers with a score of 361, good for a 25th-place finish. Maddy Ebersbach was 30th with a 376, while
Alyssa Tomlinson (Powhatan Point, Ohio/The Linsley School) carded a 398 and placed 39th.
Emily Capitosti (Perry, Ohio/Perry) tied for 40th with a total of 403 and
Olive Armbrust (Doylestown, Ohio/Chippewa) was 43rd with a score of 430.
This ends the season for the Pioneers. With no seniors on the roster, Marietta looks to move up the OAC standings in 2025-26.
