WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio — The Marietta College women's golf team is in eighth place after the first day of the 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Friday (April 21) afternoon. The Championship is being played on the par-72 River Greens Golf Course.
Otterbein and Ohio Northern are tied for first place with a score of 311, 23 strokes over par. Mount Union is third with a score of 352, followed by Heidelberg (354), John Carroll (364), Muskingum (374), Baldwin Wallace (387), Marietta (388), and Capital (400).
Otterbein's Emma McGreal is the leader in the clubhouse with a three-over-par 75. Ohio Northern's Marisa Alfes is one stroke behind at 76.
Helena Immel (Sugarcreek, Ohio/Garaway) is the Pioneers' leader with a first-round score of 86, good for 13th place.
Evie Gravlin (Columbus, Ohio/New Albany) is tied for 20th place with a round of 92.
Shelby Byland (Coshocton, Ohio/River View) carded a 105 and is tied for 37th place.
Ava Huebner (Rootstown, Ohio/Rootstown) also recorded a 105, while
Anna Reupert (Elsmere, Ky./Dixie Heights) shot a 109 and is tied for 41st place.
Marietta tees off at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday (April 22) for the second day of the three-day Championship.
