WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Marietta College placed three players on the 2022-23 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Team announced Thursday (March 2) morning by the league office. Erin Hahn (Louisville, Ohio/Louisville) earned first team honors, Devin Hefner (Parkersburg, W.Va./Parkersburg South) was selected to the second team and Olivia Gribble (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) was named Honorable mention.

"We have been fortunate to have a team with a lot of special players on it, and I am happy to have three people on the All-OAC list this year," Marietta head coach Kole Vivian said. "These three, among others, have been so important to us reaching 20-plus wins and getting back into the NCAA tournament."

Hahn, a first team All-OAC selection last year, is making her third appearance on the all-conference team. She is third on the team in scoring averaging 8.9 points per game. Hahn leads both her team and the OAC in rebounds averaging 9.0 per night.

"Erin was really dynamic for us again this year," said Coach Vivian. "She is the best rebounder in the conference and can score from all over the court. This has been the best defensive team we've had in a number of years, and Erin has been the catalyst for us."

Hefner is making her third appearance on the all-conference team. She was named honorable mention last year and after the 2019-20 season.  She is second on team averaging 9.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game and is one of the better free throw shooters in the conference with an 88.1% free throw percentage. Hefner also led the team in assists (51).

"Devin was really solid last year, and picked up her game even more this year," said Coach Vivian. "She is one of the best defensive guards in the league, and her ability to get scores herself, or facilitate for her teammates make her really difficult to stop."

Gribble is making her second appearance on the all-conference team as she was named second team All-OAC last year. She led the team lead in scoring averaging 9.5 points per game. Gribble leads Marietta and ranks third in the OAC in three-point field goals with 47.

"Olivia has really improved as a basketball player for us this year," said Coach Vivian. "Her defense got better this year, and while she has always been a high IQ player, I thought she saw the game clearer this year. And if we need a big shot, Olivia is someone we really trust to take it."

Marietta is currently 20-7 on the season. The Pioneers earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history and will play Eastern Connecticut State University in Ithaca, New York on Friday (March 3) at 5 p.m.
