WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Marietta College placed two players on the 2025-26 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Team, announced Wednesday (Feb. 25) morning by the league office. Sophomore
Kelsey Harlan (Sardis, Ohio/River) was named to the first team and freshman
Kendall Sury (Waterford, Ohio/Waterford) earned honorable mention honors.
"I am happy for both Kelsey and Kendall on being recognized as some of the best in the conference," Marietta head coach
Jenna Andersen said. "This is a special honor for the two of them."
Harlan earned first team honors as she finished third in the OAC, scoring 14.7 points per game and distributing 3.3 assists per game. She also played very well defensively as she collected 55 steals on the year, also good for a tie for first place in the OAC.
"Kelsey has proven herself as one of the best point guards in the conference and will only continue to get better," said Coach Andersen. "She was the leader of our offense and often brought a lot of energy with her game."
Sury put together a strong freshman season, although cut a bit short due to injury. Sury averaged 9.5 points per game, good for second on the team. She also averaged 4.3 rebounds per game, including leading the team in offensive rebounds. She also had one of the highest free throw shooting percentages in the conference (88.9%).
"I am happy for Kendall to get recognition as a freshman, she will be someone who makes a lot of noise in the conference for the next three years," said Coach Andersen. "She was sidelined due to an injury and out the last 6 games, but she is ready to bounce back next year."
Marietta finished the season with a 12-14 record after getting knocked out of the OAC Tournament Tuesday evening. The Pioneers were defeated by Mount Union 74-57 in the quarterfinal round.
