Since then, over 410 Division III institutions and 40 conference office have dedicated more than 500,000 total hours and have raised over $390,000 for the group. This partnership has touched the lives of approximately 130,000 Special Olympics athletes and 96,000 Division III student-athletes.
In addition to the Nothin' But Net fundraising project, Marietta College will hold its ninth annual Special Olympics Sports Extravaganza on Sunday, April 10th. After a two-year hiatus due to COVID, Pioneer student-athletes from the College's 22 varsity sports will host Special Olympians from Washington County for an afternoon of skill instruction and games at Don Drumm Stadium.
