Softball finishes up in Florida

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Marietta College finished play in the Rebel Spring Games on Friday (March 17). The Pioneer softball team lost to Wisconsin River falls, 4-3, and fell to Wisconsin-Eau Clair, 8-3.

River Falls cut the Pioneer lead in half with an unearned run in the third. But the Falcons returned the favor giving Marietta an unearned run in the fourth for a 3-1 Pioneer lead.

Two big innings led Eau Claire of the Pioneers. The Bluegolds scored four runs in the second and three in the sixth to put the game away. Marietta plated two in the third inning and one more in the fifth.
