Box Score 2 MARIETTA, Ohio – The No. 11 ranked Etta Express split an Ohio Athletic Conference baseball twinbill with Baldwin Wallace University Sunday (March 30) evening at Don Scgaly Stadium. The Pioneers won the opener 9-6 and the Yellow Jackets took the second game, 2-1.
Marietta moves to 12-6 on the season and 3-1 in the OAC. Baldwin Wallace is 11-8 overall and 2-2 in conference play.

(Xenia/Bellbrook) worked a bases-loaded walk to even the score at three. Following a pitching change for the Yellow Jackets, second baseman
(Beaver, Pa./Beaver Area). Waite (2-0) worked 7.0 innings allowing one unearned run on just three hits. Herstine (3-1) went the distance tossing 9.0 innings and giving up two runs, one earned, on eight hits.
Sophomore Brandon Cichocki threw 2.0 innings of shutout relief to record his fourth save of the season for the Yellow Jackets.
Zimmerman was hit by a pitch to lead off the BW sixth. He moved to third on a single from Kyle Chontos and scored on a sac fly by Hunter Handel. Chontos scored on an RBI single from Zach Ferster giving the Yellow Jackets a 2-0 lead.
Marietta answered in the home half of the inning. With one out, Bukiewicz layed down a bunt that was mishandled by the BW pitcher. He then took two bases on a wild pitch and scored on a sac fly from Winpigler.
McCoy was 2-for-3 with a double in the game two, while Johnston had a pair of singles.
