MARIETTA, Ohio — Two of the nation's biggest rivals take the field for the 48th time Thursday (April 8) night when #8 Marietta College (18-4) plays host to #4 College of Wooster (16-5) under the lights at Don Schaly Stadium. First pitch of the single, nine-inning game has been moved up to 6:30 p.m.
Marietta leads the all-time series 29-18 and holds a 20-8 advantage during postseason play against Wooster. The teams last met in the championship game of the 2009 MIdeast Regional Tournament, where the Fighting Scots defeated the Etta Express 4-3 to earn the trip to the NCAA Division III World Series.
