Senior catcher Alex Toth (Painesville/Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week after batting .556 during the Pioneers’ eight-game Florida trip. Toth was 15-of-27 for the week with six doubles and 12 runs driven in, both tops on the team. In addition to the 15 hits, he walked six times and was a hit by a pitch. With 21 total bases, Toth notched a .778 slugging percentage to go along with his .629 on base percentage.
