2012: Rawlings/Division III National Gold Glove catcher...Named first team All-Region by D3baseball.com and second team All-Region by the ABCA...Earned second team All-OAC. Was named to the OAC and Mideast Regional All-Tournament teams...Played in 52 games making 51 starts to earn his second varsity letter...Played errorless ball with over 400 total chances behind the plate. Allowed opponents just 14 stolen bases...Hit .323 with 54 hits and 12 doubles...Was fourth on the team with 36 runs batted in.

2011: Named to the Mideast Regional All-Tournament Team while earning his first varsity letter after starting 50 games…Moved to the starting catcher role after serving as a back-up infielder as a freshman…Threw out 14-of-32 base runners attempting to steal…Led the team with 15 sacrifices…Had eight multiple-hit and five multiple-RBI games…Had career-high three base hits against Frostburg and three RBI against Heidelberg.

2010: Appeared in 14 games and made one start as a freshman middle infielder…Batted .250 with three hits, three runs scored and one RBI.

Coach Brewer says: “Alex is the reigning Rawlings/NCAA Division III National Gold Glove Award winner. The best in the country as far as a catch and throw guys go. Alex will be looked on to supply much needed leadership to a very inexperienced pitching staff as well as improve his consistency offensively.”
