Biography

2012: Pitched in 17 and made two starts to earn his third varsity letter...was 1-1 with a 1.42 earned run average...Picked up the win against Montclair State in Florida...Used primarily in middle relief.

2011: Earned his second varsity letter working out of the bullpen…Was 2-0 with a 3.06 ERA in 17.2 innings of work…Made 14 appearances and one start…Was the winning pitcher against Mount St. Joseph and Maryville.

2010: Earned his first varsity letter as a freshman relief specialist…Went 1-0 with eight strikeouts and a 2.49 ERA in 15 appearances and 21 2/3 innings…Received his first collegiate win after pitching three shutout innings against Dubuque…Had a season-best two strikeouts against Dubuque, John Carroll and Washington & Jefferson.

Coach Brewer says: “Luke has done a fine job for us the last couple of years out of the pen. We now need Luke step up and be an even bigger contributor to this club’s success. Luke will still work out of the pen but most likely a little more frequently.”
