Dyson Baudo Recreation Center

Four full-sized basketball courts are lined up inside of Dyson Baudo. Secure netting is available to put up in between the courts, as well as a curtain that can drop down around all of the courts separating them from the track that surrounds them. These courts are used for recreation basketball as well as intramurals. The courts can also be used for tennis and volleyball as well. Also on one side of the courts there are drop down batting cages for baseball and softball.










MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM

The multi-purpose room is used for a number of fitness classes at Marietta College. Core and Flexibility, Turbo Kick, Morning Fitness, Hatha Yoga Basics, Yoga-tude, Circuit Break, and Zumba are all offered in the multi-purpose room. This is a great place to get a great workout in to stay fit.






CARDIO ROOM

Located at the top floor of the weight room, the cardio room houses 5 elliptical machines, 4 low bikes, 2 high bikes, 1 stair master, 4 treadmills, 14 weight machines and 6 HD televisions. There is also a section designated for stretching and core work. The cardio room also overlooks the recreation basketball courts and Fenton Court. Internet radio is coming soon.







WEIGHT ROOM

The weight room contains 6 free weight stations, dumbbells ranging from 10 to 120 pounds, 2 Olympic platforms and Internet radio. There are a two smith machines along the windows in the weight room as well as there are mirrors that line one side weight room. The other side has windows that look out onto the DBRC courts.








ROCK WALL

Hours of operation (Summer 2021) CLOSED Located inside the weight room in the recreation center, there is a 35-foot rock wall. The wall contains 6 top ropes with 10 top rope routes, where one is connected the whole time for beginners, 4 lead routes, where one clips their self as they go, for the intermediate climbers and 12 boulder routes, which is just free climbing for the advanced climbers.









INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD

A 200 meter 6 lane track surrounds the basketball courts. There is also an area for long jump as well as triple jump. A portable thrower's cage is available for weight and shot put. Equipment for pole vault and high jump is also available in the recreation center.







FENTON COURT

Fenton Court is the home of Pioneer basketball and volleyball. It holds 1,457 fans and contains three locker rooms, men's basketball, women's basketball and a volleyball locker room. The upper deck contains a conference room that overlooks the court.
