WESTERVILLE, Ohio — Marietta College senior
Lukas Ratliff (New Lexington, Ohio/New Lexington) named the Ohio Athletic Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week Monday (Sept. 28) afternoon by the league office.
The Pioneers defeated the Cardinals 42-7 over the weekend, sparked early when Ratliff blocked a punt through the endzone for a safety on Otterbein's opening drive. This marked Ratliff's fourth blocked kick and third safety caused of the season.
Marietta is 3-1 on the season and 2-1 in the OAC. The Pioneers will travel to take on University of Mount Union this Saturday (Oct. 3) afternoon. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
