NORTH CANTON, Ohio — The Marietta College women's golf team placed sixth at the Cavalier Fall Invitational hosted by Walsh University at Glenmoor Country Club on Thursday (Sept. 17).
 
Ursuline won the team title with a score of 326. Tiffin took second place with a score of 360, followed by Walsh (361), Baldwin Wallace (375), Malone (377), Marietta (389), and Muskingum (397).
 
Ursuline's Zaria Hampton carded a 1-over-par, 73, to take home medalist honors. Emily Capitosti (Perry, Ohio/Perry) led the Pioneers with a round of 92, good for a tie of 16th.
 
Alyssa Tomlinson (Powhatan Point, Ohio/The Linsley School) tied for 23rd with a score of 97. Evie Dehus carded a 99, while Olive Armbrust (Doylestown, Ohio/Chippewa) was two strokes behind at 101. Miley Kiggins rounded out the Marietta lineup with a score of 112.
 
Marietta is off until the end of the month when they play in the OAC Fall Preview on September 26-27 at River Greens Golf Course.
