HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Marietta College women's golf team finished fifth at the Ohio Northern Jimmy Hanlin Collegiate Invitational Monday (Sept. 14) afternoon. The first round of the tournament was played at Little Mountain Country Club, while the final round was held at the StoneWater Golf Club.

Ohio Northern won the team title with a two-day score of 665. John Carroll was second with a score of 667, followed by Ohio Northern B (699), John Carroll B (740), Capital (761), Ohio Wesleyan (781), and Marietta (786).

Ohio Northern's A Williams won medalist honors with a 14-over-par score of 158. Olive Armbrust (Doylestown, Ohio/Chippewa) led the Pioneers with a score of 189, good for 24th place.

Madelyn Ebersbach (Madison, Ohio/Madison) tied for 25th with a score of 194. Emily Capitosti (Perry, Ohio/Perry) tied for 27th with a two-round total of 200. Alyssa Tomlinson (Powhatan Point, Ohio/The Linsley School) carded a 203 to finish 32nd, while Evelyn Dehus (Ludlow Falls, Ohio) was 34th with a score of 209.

Marietta is back in action at the Walsh Cavalier Fall Invitational on Thursday (Sept. 24) at the Glenmoor Country Club.
