MARIETTA, Ohio — The weekend weather forecast has caused several changes to the Marietta College athletic schedule for Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19. Please see below for sport-by-sport specifics.
Softball:
Saturday's Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader with Baldwin Wallace University, originally scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.,
will now begin at 10:00 a.m.
The Jeanne Arbuckle Field dedication ceremony
will still take place as scheduled at 12:15 p.m. after the first game. All Community Day activities will also still take place as originally scheduled starting at 12:00 p.m. and ongoing throughout the second game of the doubleheader.
A reminder to the Marietta community that all activities associated with Community Day are FREE of charge. No ticket is needed. Come out and enjoy the softball, free food, and various giveaways.
Women's Lacrosse:
Saturday's Ohio Athletic Conference game against Baldwin Wallace, originally scheduled for 4:00 p.m., has been moved up and
will now start at 3:00 p.m. Admission is FREE of charge and the Marietta College Women's Lacrosse seniors will be honored prior to the start of the game.
Baseball:
Sunday's nonconference game against No. 1 ranked Denison University has been
POSTPONED. No make-up date has been determined at this time.
