MARIETTA, Ohio — Marietta College opened Jeanne Arbuckle Field with an Ohio Athletic Conference doubleheader split Saturday (Mar. 21) afternoon. The Pioneers hosted Otterbein University and the teams each came away with a 5-4 win. The Cardinal took game one and Marietta won the second game.

Marietta moves to 9-5 on the season and 1-1 in the OAC. Otterbein is now 6-6 overall and 1-1 in the OAC. Marietta hosts Carnegie Mellon University on Sunday (Mar. 22) for a 2:00 p.m. nonconference doubleheader.

Becca Streets (Buckeye Lake, Ohio/Hebron Lakewood) laced a one-out, walk-off single to the wall in centerfield scoring Liz White (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) with the winning run in the second game. White reached on a one-out single and moved to third on a double off the bat of Allie Sheen (Tipp City, Ohio/Bethel). Streets followed with game-winning hit.
