CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts — The Marietta College men's rowing team sent one crew to the Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday (Oct. 18) afternoon. The Pioneers turned in a top 10 finish in the men's collegiate 8+ race.

Marist had the fastest time crossing the line in 14:20.284, five seconds ahead of Tufts (14:25.063). Temple (14:26.132), Wesleyan (14:28.387), and MIT (14:34.046) rounded out the top five.

Marietta placed ninth with a time of 14:41.096, six seconds behind Purdue (14:35.284) and six seconds ahead of Fairfield (14:46.821).

Marietta will close out the fall racing season at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday (Oct. 24) in Philadelphia.
