ADA, Ohio — A trio of Pioneers competed in the Ohio Northern University Final Qualifier track meet Saturday (Mar. 8) afternoon. All three Pioneers finished second in their respective events.
 
Cael McCutcheon (Point Pleasant, W.Va./Point Pleasant) and Sage Landis (Friendly, W.Va./) both cleared 4.46 meters (14' 7.5") and tied for second in the men's pole vault.
 
Emma Fehrman (Newark, Ohio/Licking Valley) placed second in the women's triple jump with a mark of 10.77 meters (35' 4").
 
Marietta will close out the indoor track season with the NCAA Division III Indoor Championship. Junior Emily Thompson (St. Clairsville, Ohio/St. Clairsville) is Marietta's lone qualifier for the championship. She will compete in the pole vault on Friday (Mar. 14) in Rochester, New York.
