UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio — John Carroll University defeated Marietta College by the score of 9-0 Saturday (April 2) in Ohio Athletic Conference men's tennis action. The loss drops Marietta to 2-6 overall and 0-1 in the OAC. The Blue Streaks improve to 6-6 on the season and 3-0 in the OAC.

Spencer Hall (Louisville, Ohio/Louisville) and
Elivh Perez (Mexico City, Mexico/La Salle), 8-0, in the top spot.
Elliot Britton (High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire/John Hampden Grammar) and
Tyler Wise (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta)r dropped an 8-1 decision at No. 2 to Logan Langovsky and Grant Sarnowski. In the No. 3 position, Griffin Millspaugh and Luis Wentz were 8-0 winners over
David Frazier (Louisville, Ohio/Louisville) and
Gavin Donnell (/).
The Blue Streaks posted straight-set victories in each of the six singles matches. At No. 1, Langovsky downed Perez, 6-0 and 6-0. Hall fell to Beebe at No. 2, 6-0 and 6-1, while Wise lost at No. 3 to Sarnoski, 6-1 and 6-0.
Nathan Palinkas defeated Britton at No. 4, 6-1 and 6-0. Sean Padden blanked Frazier at No. 5, 6-0 and 6-0, while Aeneas Hines won at No. 6 by the same score over Donnell.
Marietta plays at Saint Vincent College on Saturday (April 9) at 1 p.m.
