The Pioneers tallied a pair of shots in the first half off the foot of Madi Wagner (Bowling Green, Ohio/Bowling Green) and Emma Egli (Homeworth, Ohio/West Branch).  Neither of the shots were on frame, and Marietta entered the intermission behind, 2-0.
