MARIETTA, Ohio – The Marietta College women's basketball team earned an 80-72 win over Ohio Athletic Conference opponent the University of Mount Union inside Ban Johnson Arena on Wednesday (Jan. 22) evening. The win improves the Pioneers to 8-8 overall and 4-5 in the OAC, and the Purple Raiders fall to 9-7 overall and 3-6 in OAC play.
"Great team effort tonight. We had a goal of contesting their shots and they didn't really get very many clean ones," said Head Coach
Kole Vivian. "Really happy with how our team handled pressure, especially Bailee, and Hahn was obviously huge off the bench."
Mount Union opened the game with a back to back buckets to notch and early 5-0 lead. The Pioneers got on the scoreboard when

Erin Hahn (Louisville, Ohio/Louisville) as she had six second quarter points.
The Purple Raiders scored the opening basket of the third quarter, but Marietta answered with a 7-0 run, to take a 41-32 lead early in the quarter. The run was sparked by a layup from Enochs, and capped by a three from
