MARIETTA, Ohio – The Marietta College volleyball team was in action Tuesday (Oct. 2) night as they hosted Otterbein University in Ban Johnson Arena on Fenton Court.   The Pioneers were defeated by the Cardinals, 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-15).

The first set started as a tight match as the game was tied at seven points apiece.  Sam Ritenour (Jeffersonville, Ohio/Miami Trace) led the Pioneers early in the first set with a pair of kills.  The Cardinals were able to grab a lead over the remainder of the set, and won 25-12.
