BEAVER FALLS, Pa. —
McKenzie Dorr (Nashport, Ohio/Tri-Valley) scored in the 87th minute to give Marietta College a 2-1 victory over Geneva College Friday (Sept. 16) afternoon in women's soccer action. The Pioneers improve to 4-2 on the season, while Geneva falls to 3-2 overall.

Rebecca Tenney (Pepper Pike, Ohio/Orange) turned away four Geneva shots in the opening period, while Franki Whritenour had two saves in the first half.
Freshman
Raeli Barnes (Vincent, Ohio/Warren) got Marietta on the board in the 53rd minute. The goal was her second of the season.
Geneva evened the match when Jenna Marcisz, with an assist from Megan Schoeneweis, scored at the 65:50 mark. The goal was Marcisz's first of the season.
Marietta kept the pressure on the Tornadoes forcing Whritenour to make four saves in the second half. Dorr tallied the game winner, her second of the fall, with less than four minutes remaining in the match.
Andrea Sabol (Barberton, Ohio/Barberton) picked up the assist on the deciding goal.
For the match, Marietta outshot Geneva 14-13. The Golden Tornadoes took four corner kicks in the match, while the Pioneers had none.
