WILMINGTON, Ohio — Marietta College and Wilmington College finished in a 2-2 double overtime tie Saturday (Oct. 15) evening in women's soccer action. The draw is Marietta's third straight and leaves the Pioneers 7-4-4 overall and 1-1-3 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Wilmington is 5-4-4 overall and 0-3-2 in conference play.
The Pioneers made the most of their lone shot in the first half.
Raeli Barnes (Vincent, Ohio/Warren) bent a corner kick into the net in the ninth minute for a 1-0 MC lead. The goal was her eighth of the season.

Rebecca Tenney (Pepper Pike, Ohio/Orange) was barraged by Quaker shots as Wilmington fired off 36 total in the match. Tenney held WC scoreless in the first half with six of her 15 saves.
McKenzie Dorr (Nashport, Ohio/Tri-Valley) doubled the Marietta lead with a goal in the 66th minute.
Sophia Moise (Naples, Fla./Naples) picked up the assist on Dorr's eighth goal of the season.
Wilmington refused to roll over and leveled the match with two goals in 20 seconds. Erika Good got the Quakers on the board at 77:20 with assists from Katie Evans and Ashley Lovett. Taylor Scott tallied the equalizer at 77:40 with an assist from Lovett.
At the end of regulation Wilmington was outshooting the Pioneers 31-3 and held a 10-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Quakers continued their attacking ways in overtime. Wilmington took three shots in the first extra period and two more in the second. Meanwhile, the Quaker defense held Marietta without a shot in overtime.
