BETHANY, W.Va. — Bethany College posted a straight-set 3-0 win over Marietta College Wednesday (Sept. 23) evening in nonconference volleyball action. Bethany posted set scores of 25-11, 25-9 and 25-17. The Bison improve to 13-5 on the season, while the Pioneers drop to 6-7 overall.
Devin Walter (Indianapolis, Ind./Southport) led the Pioneer attack with seven kills.
Mallory Vodopich (Canton/Massillon Perry) and
Erica Denallo (Independence/Independence) each finished with four kills. Julia Miskaluk had a team-high 14 assists, while Vodopich dished out eight assists.
Defensively, libero
Mary Ervin (Lewis Center/Olentangy Orange) recorded 18 digs. Vodopich chipped in with 12 digs. Walter and
Amanda Arrowood (Reynoldsburg/Groveport Madison) each had one block.
