NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Marietta College and Muskingum University battled to a 1-1 double overtime tie Tuesday (Oct. 9) evening in women's soccer. Each team scored a second half goal in the match.
The Pioneers are 3-8-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the Ohio Athletic Conference. Muskingum is 4-8-1 on the season and 0-3-1 in league play.
The first half was evenly matched. Muskingum took five shots including two on goal. The Pioneers managed four shots with three of them on frame.
Muskingum got on the scoreboard first with a goal in the 62nd minute. Halley Dickey scored her fourth goal of the season off an assist from Noelle Kleppel.

Erin Panczyk (Twinsburg/Twinsburg)# headed the ball past the Muskingum keeper to even the match.
In the two overtime periods, Marietta took five shots, three on goal. Muskingum managed three shots with just one on goal.

Kaitlyn Pearse (Galena/Olentangy Orange)# made 10 saves in the match. Sara Poling recorded nine saves in goal for the Fighting Muskies.
Muskingum took 21 shots in the match and had five corner kicks. The Pioneers posted 13 shots and took six corner kicks.
