WILMINGTON, Ohio – Marietta College made quick work of Wilmington College in Ohio Athletic Conference volleyball action Friday (Oct. 19) evening. The Pioneers needed less than an hour to complete the 3-0 sweep posting set scores of 25-13, 25-11 and 25-17.
Marietta (15-9, 4-3 OAC) was on fire in the opening set hitting .312 as a team. For the match, the Pioneers recorded a .231 attack percentage with 39 kills and just 15 errors in 104 total attacks.
The Pioneers were able to get the entire roster plenty of playing time. With a match against the defending national champions, Wittenberg University, tomorrow head coach Ray Costa was able to rest several of his starters.

Mary Ervin (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy Orange)# had six.
Marietta plays a pair of non-conference matches Saturday (Oct. 20) at Wittenberg University. The Pioneers play Allegheny College at 3:00 p.m. and No. 3-ranked Wittenberg at 5:00 p.m. Fans can catch the action live at
