Etta Express rebounds with 5-1 win over Maryville

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Marietta's Jim Kennedy struck out eight and allowed three hits as the Pioneers defeated Maryville 5-1 on Tuesday, March 8.
 
Kennedy (1-0) allowed an unearned run and walked three, while the Etta Express (5-2) amassed 10 hits. Marc Moavero went 2-for-3 with a double and one RBI, while Jon Shuler added two hits and an RBI.
 
Marietta's Monte Duncan and Marty Sberna each went 2-for-3. Rick Goewert went 2-for-3 for the Saints.
