KENT — Ken Lisko continued to swing a hot bat as the third basemen went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI to lead Marietta past Kent State 6-3 on Wednesday, April 15.
Jon Shuler also added two hits and a run in the win, while Dan Munday had a solo homer.
Dale Hurst gave up five hits and struck out four to improve to 7-1 on the season.
In the second game, Lisko had a single and Steve Riley went 2-for-2 with two doubles and two walks as the two programs played to a 4-4 tie. The Pioneers (31-2-3) used four pitchers in the nightcap, with Jim Kennedy throwing 5 2/3 innings of relief.
