Storey, the OAC Player of the Week, led Marietta to a 5-0 record last week, including four wins and a team title at the 2009 River City Volleyball Tournament Friday (Sept. 18) and Saturday (Sept. 19) at Ban Johnson Arena. She was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament after compiling 44 kills with just 2 errors in 83 attempts over the four-match stretch. Storey carried the Pioneers to a 3-0 win in the tournament-clinching match against Defiance with 16 kills and a .600 hitting percentage, which was the third highest for a Pioneer player that has taken 20 or more swings in a single match. For the week, she collected 55 kills to go along with 11 block assists.
