Junior Sophi Merickel (Phoenix, Ariz. / Cactus Shadows) led the Pioneer women with a win in the 200-meter dash and a third place showing in the 500-meter dash. Merickel set personal records in both events with a time of 28.47 seconds in the 200m and 1:23.15 in the 500m. Merickel was also a part of Marietta's second place 4x400-meter relay team that posted a time of 4:21.17.
