Marietta College Athletics

Track and Field sophomore Emily Thompson (St. Clairsville, Ohio/St. Clairsville) was one of two individual event winners for the Pioneers at the All-Ohio Championships last week. Thompson broke her own Marietta College record for the indoor pole vault. She won the event with a height of 3.81 meters, eclipsing her old mark of 3.70 meters. Thompson's winning mark is the best in the OAC and ranks seventh in NCAA Division III this winter.
