Marietta College Athletics

Football sophomore linebacker Harley Hopkins (Zanesville, Ohio/West Muskingum) was named the OAC Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Pioneers to a 45-14 victory at Capital. Hopkins led the Marietta defense that limited the Comets to just 70 yards rushing and 183 total yards of offense in the game. He recorded 9 tackles, 1.5 tackles for a loss, and 1.0 sack.
