Football junior wide receiver and return specialist Dawson Snyder (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Moon Area) led the Pioneers to a 31-7 win over St. John Fisher to open the 2023 season. Snyder was named the OAC Special Teams Player of the Week after returning a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown. Snyder also caught 10 passes for 109 yards and two more touchdowns, accounting for three of Marietta's four touchdowns in the game.
